These Terms govern your use of Maia ("Maia", "the service"), the hosted bio-link service at maiabio.link, including every space published under username.maiabio.link, custom domains connected to the service, and all related pages. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
Maia gives every user a personal page built from blocks, a Markdown blog, and a small shop section, served at a free username.maiabio.link subdomain and optionally at a custom domain you own. The core product is free forever: existing features will never move behind a paywall. A separately negotiated "Custom" plan may be offered for bespoke work by direct agreement.
2. Accounts
You need an account to publish a space. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Usernames are provided on a first-come basis, subject to the reserved list, and a username whose previous account was deleted may be registered again by another user — do not rely on a deleted username remaining reserved.
3. Your content
You own what you create: your page content, posts, and product listings. You grant Maia only the license needed to operate the service — to store, render and display your content on your pages, feeds and listings while your account exists. You may delete your content or your whole account at any time from your dashboard.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Maia to publish or promote content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, infringing of others' rights, deceptive (phishing, scams), or that constitutes malware distribution or unsolicited bulk messaging. You may not use the service to host content you do not have the rights to, to impersonate others, or to attack or probe the service or other tenants. We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate these rules — with notice when practicable, without notice where required by law or to prevent harm.
5. Shop and sales
The shop feature lets you list products and receive order inquiries by email. Maia is not a party to any sale. We do not process payments, hold funds, guarantee deliveries, or mediate disputes between buyers and sellers; buyers pay sellers directly and both parties arrange payment and delivery themselves. If you sell, you are solely responsible for your products, prices, taxes, consumer-protection obligations, and order fulfillment.
6. Availability
The service is provided as-is, without an availability guarantee or service-level agreement. It runs on third-party infrastructure, and maintenance, redeploys, and third-party failures can interrupt it. You are welcome to keep your own backup of your content.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account permanently from Admin → Settings. Deleting removes your pages, posts, products and data from the service and its database immediately, and the old addresses are answered with a permanent "gone" status so search engines remove them promptly. Deleted usernames may subsequently be registered by others (see section 2).
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maia and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind beyond what applicable law requires. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, and the courts of Tirana, Albania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, to the extent applicable law permits such a choice.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the service (and for significant changes, by email to account holders) before they take effect. Continuing to use Maia after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
